Active Pixels 3.04
Hello! I decided do not publish fix pack 2, and publish complete new version. Active Pixels 3.04 include:
- Advanced convert to gray tool, you can set output brightness for red, yellow, green, aqua, blue and purple colors. Also you can select output hue and saturation. Can save and load settings.
- color quantization algorithm was improved and now its quality approached Photoshop.
- fixed many interface bugs and bugs with undo/redo.
- notes tool (which contained some free photos) and welcome screen were deleted.
- advanced pixel preview tool, with it you can move picture to any direction by one pixel, to get more sharpen image after it resize.
You can download Active Pixels 3.04 under the Adsence block.
Active Pixels – free photo editor hot fix pack
Another fix pack is awaiting.. Will be published in this week. It will fix interface bugs (some of them you can see in the color selector dialog), and also fix pack will contain interest function, which helps to desaturate image (make it grayscale) with many parameters, like Photoshop black-white function.
Fix Pack 1 for 3.03 Alpha
There is a small pack, which fix next bugs fixes in AP 3.03 alpha:
- undo/redo bugs.
- some interface improvements.
You can download it in the downloads link. Before setup it – deinstall AP 3.03, or if you will not deinstall old version of Ap – it will be installed both versions.
Active Pixels 3.03 Alpha
Hi all! As I said earlier I publishing 3.03 alpha – it’s fix some 3.02 Alpha bugs and also have next changes:
- new “black” interface.
- channels import/export in calculations window.
- new brush modes in Active Pixels: blur and sharpen brush modes.
- some interface impovements and possiblities.

Active Pixels 3.02 Alpha published
Hello, i published Active Pixels 3.02 Alpha, it have all list of features from previous post. You can download it in the right. Also Active Pixels 3.01 is also avialable for people who want more stability. Some bugs in 3.02 Alpha version (i found little) will be fixed in next week. Also will be added additional feature – in calculations window you will be able to save/load channel(s).

Hello! I’ll try to publish AP 3.02 Alpha in this week, it will be good number of significant changes:
- up to 70% memory economy.
- no more undo limits.
- picture-in-page will substitute classic multidocument interface.
- instruments toolboxs will be more like CS 3.
- automatic open registered file types (types can be set in options).
- preview images in recent documents menu.
- also new possiblities in instruments (like set width and height of selection and more).
- fixed some bugs.
